Rebranding the mark of a state institution is no easy feat. The 30+-year-old Arizona Lottery brand has an ambitious revenue target of one billion dollars, which means it needs to scream “Show me the money.” Although the Arizona Lottery was faced with a few challenges, it also had unique opportunities for growth among millennial and multicultural audiences. Today, the updated logo can be seen throughout the state of Arizona—from billboards to sports games.
